Lucky Honey was born from a desire to bring both style and performance to the studio floor. Founded by NYC Pilates instructor and fit model Jennifer Murdock, the brand began with the launch of the original Honey Sock — a grip sock designed to inspire confidence, enhance performance, and elevate your workout wardrobe. With an expert eye for garment construction and a deep understanding of movement, Jennifer set out to create a sock that was as fashionable as it was functional.

As demand grew, Jennifer teamed up with her brother and co-founder Daniel Whittelsey, a master engineer with a passion for entrepreneurship. Together, they built Lucky Honey into a brand driven by innovation, quality, and a shared love for purposeful design.

At its core, Lucky Honey believes that looking good makes you feel good — and when you feel good, you move better.Their grip socks offer a perfect alternative to going barefoot in studio classes, or for adding a bit of luxury to your lounging routine at home.

The name Lucky Honey is a heartfelt tribute to their grandmothers: Elizabeth Lucky Whittelsey and Valerie Philips Renick — two women who continue to inspire the brand’s mission of strength, grace, and legacy.
